
MikoVerse is looking for an experienced Gameplay Engineer to work closely with the development team to iterate on our user-facing Unreal client as well as implement mechanics that make use of our MikoVerse back-end and networking.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Designing gameplay architecture to support hundreds of networked players in a lobby

Developing systems with other engineers to allow end-users to design their own worlds without requiring deep technical knowledge from those users

Generalist engine work with a focus on gameplay but touching on auxiliary systems such as UI, animation, and other client specific work
REQUIREMENTS

Deep understanding of Unreal Blueprints and how to architecture systems within Blueprint

Deep understanding of the Unreal Editor to build out test levels and assist in level systems and scripting

Ability to communicate and implement mechanisms based on design intentions

Familiarity with the Unreal Marketplace and the ways users of Unreal Engine interact with the editor
